Mature yellowtail amberjack (buri) is in season in December, when its flesh is oily and in its peak flavour profile. This was alive a few moments before plating. Really really fresh and excellent!!
Sometimes, nothing beats pure quality and freshness. No fancy cheffing up here - just fish on your table seconds after being dispatched. Excellent!!! Served with octopus, squid, and clams etc on the side.
Soooooo fresh. Just a bit too much sugar in the broth for me. Most of the fish is caught locally. Come here early and prepare to wait when it is busy season... They operate on a "take a number" ticket system!
