Fusilli pasta with a pecorino & regato cheese sauce, spinach, sun-dried tomato, basil and rocket. I was genuinely so impressed with how tasty this was for a Wetherspoons pasta. The sauce was gorgeously creamy and so cheesy and the portion size was perfect, leaving you satisfied but not too full. Plant-based mince, onions, carrots, cherry tomatoes, tomato sauce and basil with your choice of pasta. What I really liked about this dish was that you could decide what kind of pasta you would like with the sauce and could modify the dish however you liked (a picky eater’s dream!) I chose to go with tagliatelle and was very satisfied! The pasta was cooked beautifully and was lovely and soft; while the sauce itself was really flavourful without being too overwhelming. Fresh tortellini filled with pumpkin and blue cheese in nutmeg butter and topped with roast pumpkin seeds. I would have liked a bigger portion size as this one felt quite small. The tortellini itself was delicious and the flavours of the filling blended together really nicely, but the garlic butter clumps on top (I think that’s what they are?) were a little bit strong and quite bitter, so I would have preferred it more without. Spaghetti with vegan bacon, white sauce with vegan egg alternative and topped with a sundried tomato crouton. The sauce was quite heavy which I think made it a bit too much for me, but it was surprisingly creamy for a sauce with no actual cream in it! The vegan bacon was nice, although it didn’t have a very similar texture to actual bacon. The sundried tomato crouton, however, was to DIE for!
