OKRA FRIES

Wow. Being from the US South I know how hard it can be to cook okra but this is perfect. The batter is the perfect thickness, adding a needed crunch and dryness to the typically wet and slimy okra, but still thin enough to have the last third of your chew be a nice bit through soft greens. The batter is also phenomenally spiced, giving great flavor that subtly rears it head after a couple bites and remains evenly afterwards. Beautiful texture and flavor.
