鴨飯 DUCK RICE
Liang Zhao Ji Duck Rice Restaurant, Singapore
A traditionally Teochew dish of braised duck with Cantonese influences, prepared by a Teochew chef because his master was Cantonese. Talk about a culinary identity crisis! Anyway, duck was tender and the braising sauce, flavorful. I might try it with the congee next time, but I’m not sure I’d stand in line a half hour for it again.
