I've always wonder what's all the fuzz about the Dutch apple pie, coz it never tasted that great to me. Now I've had the real thing and the best place to have it, I totally get it now! The crust is thick and almost butter biscuit like, apple is tart with still a bit of crunch left in it ( w/ the right amount of spices and sugar ), and that whipped cream, oh my ..... Perfect place to come to rest our tired tourist feet and have some pie and coffee! Best (Dutch) Apple Pie EVER!!!
