Italian food is ALWAYS a good idea. On these grey days nothing like a good carb-coma from some amazing Italian food to cheer you up. 🍝🍕🇮🇹 . The newly opened @terrarossa.london is a new Italian restaurant specializing in Puglian cuisine on Upper St in Angel. Every dish I tried was delicious and made me feel like it was a home cooked meal. The menu features many traditional regional dishes, like broad bean puree with wild chicory and cured meats and cheeses, as well as homemade pasta and pizza. . Here is a list of all the dishes I tried out: . ✦ Parmigiana - Thinly sliced, floured and fried aubergines layered with tomato sauce and mozzarella and baked in the oven . ✦ Polpo a Pignatu - braised Mediterranean octopus, potatoes and toasted bread in a black pepper sauce . ✦ Gnocchetti Vongole e Basilico - Homemade gnocchi served with a clam, saffron and basil sauce . ✦ Cicoriella Pizza - mozzarella, tomato,heritage yellow tomatoes, wild chicory and celline olives . ✦ Millefoglie Alle Fragole - millefeuille with mascarpone cheese & strawberries . Aside from all their delicious meals, I absolutely loved their interior decor. There was exposed brick walls, wood paneling, and touches of unique lighting. There are a number of restaurants to pick on Upper St, but you should definitely add Terra Rossa to your list! 📍Upper St, Angel, London #invited
