To call this dish simply "fish" is like calling Eve a mere "woman". You just don't do it! 😄 Jokes aside, this is my FAVE fish, mackerel, served with my FAVE fruit, persimmon. I would never have thought to pair the two together (and I like to stroke my ego by thinking I'm pretty good at these things!) 😆 but FVCK THEY GO SO WELL TOGETHER!!!!! OH MY FVCKING G!!!!!! Some sort of expelliarmus sorcery has been performed here... It's a shime-saba style vinegar marinated mackerel, with the skin side gently aburi'd (torched, broiled, whatevs). The sauce has a sharp asian mustard base. I promise you, your life will forever be different after you've put one of these on your tongue. Colours will appear brighter. Your feet will smell nicer. Even Britney Spears will sound like Maria Callas singing Tosca at the Teatro alla Scala!!!!! I just heard it on the radio... True Story! 😂😂😂
