In order to avoid ridiculous line at the Dominique Ansel bakery, I went early to try my chance at getting me some cronuts. Well what do you know? There was no line at 9:30am on a weekday! I told the nice lady that I was from out of town and may I buy 4 cronuts so my entire family can have one each? Usually you’re limited to 2 cronuts/person. She was nice and let me get 4! I also bought one #canele for the road. Well, it was yummy but had I waited half a day like those New Yorkers did back in the day, I would’ve been disappointed. My family and my reaction to the cronut in the order of sequence. 1. Wow! So dense and heavy! 2. Ooops, what was that oozing out?? (Cherry jam filling) 3. The layers could be more flaky... 4. The frosting isn’t that good. 5.
