The best siew yuk I’ve had in recent years. The minute I got it I tore into it and savagely took a bite. Ohhh that crunch from that crispy skin is worthy of any ASMR video. And the meat was juicy and literally finger-licking good. And tender enough to bite into but not artificially tenderized with chemicals. It is damn good. Later in the night I had another piece. Still as good. And now 24-hours after with the later part of those hours in the refrigerator I took it out to cut a little piece for @kuchisabishii and wouldn’t you know it… the skin is still crispy! Of course I had to cut a little piece off for myself to see if it was still worthy to give away. You know… for science! Just fyi, they sell their roast pork from a stall and their van in an open air market from around 2-2.30pm till about 5pm. If you are getting a lot, it’s probably best to preorder. Unless you don’t mind queueing up under the hot sun for it. Either way it’ll be worth it. Just make sure to get at least 1kg.
